Tamika Crosbie - Director

Born in Hobart, Tamika trained as a classical singer at Melbourne University. Since returning to Tasmania, Tamika has been working as a voice specialist, performer, choral and musical director at her studio, The Friends' School, St Michael's Collegiate, Rosny college, and most theatre companies across Hobart. 

A gifted and versatile vocalist, Tamika has performed across many genres including opera, operetta, musical theatre and contemporary music with the likes of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Opera Company, Hip Pocket Opera, Hobart Baroque, and Allegri. Performances in Tasmania Festivals; Broadway to Australia, Festival of Voices, MOFO Faux Mo, and the Shakespeare Festival. Creative and Musical Theatre performances for Bijou Creative, Gilbert and Sullivan Society, Hobart Repertory Society, and both the Melbourne and Tasmania Conservatorium.

Nicole Simms-Farrow - Tutor

One of Tasmania's finest performers, Nicole has provided private vocal coaching at Rosny College, worked with the Ogilvie Girls Show Choir and held vocal workshops at Claremont College and St Michael's Collegiate.

Nicole has worked extensively on stage, in film, and in concert across the state, working with some of Tasmania's finest production companies and musicians. 2017 saw Nicole play Elphaba in Wicked and Roxie Hart in CHICAGO at the Theatre Royal.  Other selected performances include the one woman show Journey Girl, Fantine in Les Miserables,  Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady,  Maureen in RENT, Rizzo in Grease, Mary Jane in Big River and in Festival of Voices shows including 'Farrow, Farrow and Farrow' and 'Bitter Sweet'. 


Spanning 19 years, Samantha has developed an impressive and versatile career. She has landed lead roles in The Addams Family (Old Nick Co.), Little Shop of Horrors (G&S), In the Heights (Exitleft), Avenue Q (Hobart Rep), We Will Rock You (John X Presents) and Carrie The Musical (Bijou Creative). Samantha has also been involved in The Producers, The Drowsy Chaperone, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Wedding Singer (Old Nick Co.), CATS!, Oliver, Iolanthe (G&S) and the Bawdy Panto production, Bumblelina (John X Presents). Most notably, Samantha’s role in Something’s Afoot (Hobart Rep) was recognised with a Tasmanian Theatre Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Community Musical in 2017.

To support her career, Samantha has had extensive dance training with Angela Ireson, Nicole Rosson and House of Dance, while studying classical voice with Benjamin Martin and Jane Edwards and music theatre with Brett Budgeon. She is currently studying Music Theatre at the UTAS Conservatorium of Music and is the resident voice coach at Industrie Performing Arts.


Chelsea began singing at the age of 4 after discovering her passion for the arts. At just 16 years of age, Chelsea holds a wealth of musical theatre experience as well as contemporary and classical training. Chelsea has been a tutor at TC vocal for the last 3 years and has extensive amounts of experience working with children. Chelsea’s performance credits include Ursula in The little Mermaid, Andy Lee in 42nd Street and Vivienne in Legally Blonde for Musical Theatre Crew. For Bijou Creative Chelsea has performed in Carrie the Musical, and will be seen in My Fair Lady at the Theatre Royal.
